New Programs to Edit With!

i just got; Adobe master collection (adobe after effects and Photoshop are the main ones i use out of it...), Sony Vegas Pro 10 and i am doing a free trial of CINEMA 4D!  although CINEMA 4D is too hard for me to figure out so i do not think that i am going to use it.  anyway i love the fact that Vegas Pro is so alike to my old program Sony Movie Maker.  and After Effects i will need some tutorials to get used to it, but it has some similar properties as Vegas Pro...  and lastly Photoshop i got the basics down and am trying to learn how to do some edits so i can make some speed edit videos!  so be expecting some new montages and stuff out of me this summer because i got the programs to do it finally!

here is just an example of what i can do with my old video editing program.|

dell takes forever to ship

I ordered my new dell desktop because i have been getting really interested in the video editing industry and wanted to make some cool movies and montages with my crappy laptop that i have currently.  it is just your run of the line 500 dollar computer that will do simple tasks but no more.  so i started out making simple movies that had small amounts of editing and were relatively short.  once i had the hang of it i started to a montage for black ops no scopes.  i put all the clip together and it was still doing fine.  but, i put some slow motion and a few lens flares that traced my gun into the montage and it shut my program down...?  i was like WTF!  so i open it again and i shuts down...  so i figure that i would talk to my friend at school who has a good knowledge of computers and could help me out.   all in all what he said was to go big or go home!  so i ended up getting a decked out dell
8200 desktop with and Intel i7 processor, 2 terrabites hard drive space, 12 gigs memory, and a blue ray player. i figure that i will be able to edit videos lightning fast and run multiple apps at once!  so i decide that i am going to order it and fork out the money ($1800) what i did not realize or think of checking was when it was going to ship!  after about two weeks of waiting on my porch for it to come i thought i would look back at the tracker and check on it.  i found out that it had not even left the frickn factory yet!!!  so here i am waiting for my computer to arrive on may 3 when i ordered it one month ago.  well if you guy comment saying that you want a reveiw blog on my computer i will put one up

Osam bin Ladin (death)

OK, so as may of you probably know Osama bin Ladin is dead!  so here are some facts that i have gathered from people i know and news reporters.  the compound did not get bombed by a predator missile like they had said the night when the USA found out and all of our TV shows were interrupted.  a group of US navy seals rappelled into the walls of the compound and shot him in the head twice.  along with Osama, his youngest wife was also shot in the head because she was being used as a human shield by Osama, and two of guards were also shot in the head.  the US navy seals did not want to shoot any of them in the body because of the possibility of body armor or bombs, so they had to all be shot in the head.  once the mission was completed they assessed the situation and secured the compound located just north of the city of Pakistan in a suburb.  they then called in the helicopter to leave the compound and the helicopter had a mechanical malfunction and they had to blow up the helicopter and call in another one.  they carried out the whole mission in an astonishing 45 minutes!  they use the DNA of one of Osama's 50 siblings (sister) to confirm that they indeed killed Osama bin Ladin (they are 99.99% sure it is him).  once they had the body they had a choice to make.  to either keep the body for further inspection or give the body a proper burial at sea.  because of Muslim tradition they had 24 hours to bury the body.  so they chose to bury the body at sea shortly after the killing.  some people brought up the fact that he was killed on the same day that Hitler killed himself and that is not accurate.  Hitler killed himself on May 1 while Osama was killed April 30...  and even if they had been killed on the same day so what!?  just thought i would clear up some topics that people have been talking a great bit about lately!

PSN mass email

below is a email that PSN sent me.  read it to get the real info on what actual is happening
===================================
PlayStation(R)Network
===================================
Valued PlayStation(R)Network/Qriocity Customer:
We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011,
certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account
information was compromised in connection with an illegal and
unauthorized intrusion into our network. In response to this
intrusion, we have:
1) Temporarily turned off PlayStation Network and Qriocity services;
2) Engaged an outside, recognized security firm to conduct a full
and complete investigation into what happened; and
3) Quickly taken steps to enhance security and strengthen our
network infrastructure by rebuilding our system to provide you
with greater protection of your personal information.
We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding and goodwill
as we do whatever it takes to resolve these issues as quickly and
efficiently as practicable.
Although we are still investigating the details of this incident,
we believe that an unauthorized person has obtained the following
information that you provided: name, address (city, state, zip), country,
email address, birthdate, PlayStation Network/Qriocity password and login,
and handle/PSN online ID. It is also possible that your profile data,
including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip),
and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may
have been obtained. If you have authorized a sub-account for your
dependent, the same data with respect to your dependent may have
been obtained. While there is no evidence at this time that credit
card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have
provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity,
out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit
card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have
been obtained.
For your security, we encourage you to be especially aware of email,
telephone and postal mail scams that ask for personal or sensitive
information. Sony will not contact you in any way, including by email,
asking for your credit card number, social security number or other
personally identifiable information. If you are asked for this information,
you can be confident Sony is not the entity asking. When the PlayStation
Network and Qriocity services are fully restored, we strongly recommend that
you log on and change your password. Additionally, if you use your PlayStation
Network or Qriocity user name or password for other unrelated services or
accounts, we strongly recommend that you change them as well.
To protect against possible identity theft or other financial loss, we
encourage you to remain vigilant, to review your account statements and
to monitor your credit reports. We are providing the following information
for those who wish to consider it:
- U.S. residents are entitled under U.S. law to one free credit report annually
from each of the three major credit bureaus. To order your free credit report,
visit www.annualcreditreport.com or call toll-free (877) 322-8228.
- We have also provided names and contact information for the three major U.S.
credit bureaus below. At no charge, U.S. residents can have these credit bureaus
place a "fraud alert" on your file that alerts creditors to take additional steps
to verify your identity prior to granting credit in your name. This service can
make it more difficult for someone to get credit in your name. Note, however,
that because it tells creditors to follow certain procedures to protect you,
it also may delay your ability to obtain credit while the agency verifies your
identity. As soon as one credit bureau confirms your fraud alert, the others
are notified to place fraud alerts on your file. Should you wish to place a
fraud alert, or should you have any questions regarding your credit report,
please contact any one of the agencies listed below:
Experian: 888-397-3742; www.experian.com; P.O. Box 9532, Allen, TX 75013
Equifax: 800-525-6285; www.equifax.com; P.O. Box 740241, Atlanta, GA 30374-0241
TransUnion: 800-680-7289; www.transunion.com; Fraud Victim Assistance Division,
P.O. Box 6790, Fullerton, CA 92834-6790
- You may wish to visit the website of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission at
www.consumer.gov/idtheft or reach the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 or 600 Pennsylvania
Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20580 for further information about how to protect
yourself from identity theft. Your state Attorney General may also have advice
on preventing identity theft, and you should report instances of known or
suspected identity theft to law enforcement, your State Attorney General,
and the FTC. For North Carolina residents, the Attorney General can be
contacted at 9001 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-9001; telephone
(877) 566-7226; or www.ncdoj.gov. For Maryland residents, the Attorney
General can be contacted at 200 St. Paul Place, 16th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202;
telephone: (888) 743-0023; or www.oag.state.md.us.
We thank you for your patience as we complete our investigation of this
incident, and we regret any inconvenience. Our teams are working around the
clock on this, and services will be restored as soon as possible. Sony takes
information protection very seriously and will continue to work to ensure that
additional measures are taken to protect personally identifiable information.
Providing quality and secure entertainment services to our customers is
our utmost priority. Please contact us at 1-800-345-7669 should you have any
additional questions.
Sincerely,

Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment

PSN is down!!!

OK, so as most of you probably know the PlayStation network has been down for about a week and two days now:(  what is have herd is it should "unofficial info here" be up by Tuesday March 3.  is this true?  i don't know, nobody knows yet!  for all i know i that info that i have searched for and found could just be a bunch of lies...  well anyway, PSN is down and i have nothing to do because... if i am to play my PlayStation I am usual playing online like Cod or GTA IV.  and this "crash" aka hack by a 19 year old kid pissed off that he got banned... came at the worst time because i am in the midst of making my multi Cod video and need clips from WaW and MW2!!!!  on another note, this hacking of PSN just shows how insecure all of our information that we give out on the internet is!  i had my mom put her credit card into my PSN so i could download map packs then pay her back cash.  now i hear that these hackers have all the info they want that you have ever submitted to the PSN! including credit card numbers!  this is just outrageous...  i was soooo pissed when i found out that my info was in someone else's hands!  all in all i am going to switch over to PC gaming because i hear that it is ten million times better and my beast of a computer is on its way and should arrive at my house in about one to two days...

How to set up Dazzle DVC 100

if you have read my previous blogs about how to record game play and you ended up buying a Dazzle you most likely do not know how to set it up...  the recorder will come with the recording device, and installation disk.  so to hook it up to your counsel you will need two things.  first, you will need a AV extension cord with both sides being male.  this will run you about 15 dollars.  next you will need three AV splitters with two sides female and the one side male. all three will cost about 15 dollars too.  take you recorder and plug it into your computer, put the three splitters and put the counsels yellow cord with the extensions yellow cord and put that combo into the recorders yellow slot, do the same with the red and white cords too.  plug your AV extension into your TV's corresponding slots and do the same with your counsels other end.  now that you have it all hooked up you can record!  here is a little diagram as to what it should look like...

(councel)----
                    ----

how to record video games

hey guys, so you are playing black ops and you get a awesome game play on Nuke town, you went 47-1.  and you want to post it on YouTube so your friends can watch it.  you record it with your phone and it looks like crap, so you pull out your good recorder and it still does not look that good?  you can ether, buy a HD pvr or a Dazzle.  the HD pvr will run you from $150 to $1000 depending on which one you buy.  if you don't have that much money you can look into the Dazzle.  this will cost you anywhere from $40 to $140 depending on which one you get and where you buy it.  so you may wonder why would you spend that much money for an HD pvr? when you could get a simple Dazzle that would do basically the same job?  well the HD pvr will shoot in 1080i and have amazing HD quality...  while the Dazzle (with the right program and settings) will shot standard definition that is not all that bad.  if you are going to make more than 100 videos i would suggest the HD pvr because you will eventually end up buying it anyway...  but if you are only looking to make a few videos just go with the Dazzle.  because it will get the job that you want it to do done.  also if you are planing on making any montages with your recorder you will probably want to buy a good editing program.  anything really will do the job but i prefer the Sony Vegas pro series because it has basic and higher end editing FX and tools.  if you go the cheap way you can set yourself up for around $100 dollars but can spend up to $10,000 depending on your editing programs!   now you have that video, how do you upload it to YouTube you may ask?  check out my
"how to upload videos to YouTube" video that gives a simple and in depth tutorial on how to upload any video to YouTube.

how to upload video to Youtube

so you take that video on your camera of you doing a back flip on your bike.  now what? show your friends and family? or you could share it with the world and make a viral video!  so you have your back flip video right, take your USB cord and connect your camera to your computer putting the USB cord in the correct spots.  what should happen is a notification that your camera has been connected will appear.  click the "import pictures and media".  while the video is importing name the video "YouTube back flip video" once you have successfully  imported you YouTube back flip video to your computer fire up your internet and open up YouTube.  if you already have an account sign in.  but if you do not have an account register.  registering only takes about 2 min and only requires you to have an email.  so now that you are on your account you will see to the right of the search bar a button that says "upload".  click this button and at the next screen click "upload video".  by clicking this you will open up your documents.  remember where you imported your YouTube back flip video to and locate it.  open it by clicking on it and that will start your upload!  Yay you are done you have uploaded your first video to YouTube!!!  but wait, why am I only getting 13 views on my video???  to make your video easy to find you need to edit the information on your video.  to do this you are going to hover over your name in the upper right hand corner and you will see a group of things drop down.  click the "my videos"  once you are here you are going to want to click edit video under you YouTube back flip video.  once there you will want to insert a description describing you video and some tags to help people find your video.  a good example of some tags would be "awesome bike back flip"  and add any more tags that you think would help people locate your video.  and remember to have a good title that people will click.  hope i helped you have fun YouTubers!
